We visited Le Saint-Amour in Quebec City to celebrate my wife’s birthday on August 20, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dish beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The restaurant’s decor is elegant and charming, creating a perfect atmosphere for a special occasion. The service was top-notch from start to finish. Our main waiter was attentive and professional, and the staff who brought and explained each course and cocktail were knowledgeable and added a special touch to the evening. Their detailed explanations enhanced our appreciation of the meal. The only hiccup was that I had noted in the reservation that it was my wife’s birthday, and I was hoping for a small acknowledgment or greeting from the staff. Unfortunately, that detail seems to have been missed, and her birthday went unmentioned, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this, Le Saint-Amour delivered an exceptional dining experience, and I would still highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable meal in Quebec City.

Tasty, beautiful food, in a romantic setting. We were able to dine, even though we did not have a reservation, we just did not seat in the beautifully decorated room, but that was ok. Both meals cost us more than the car rental and the Hilton bedroom put together, but I must say it was a nice meal, so it was worthy. The ingredients were top quality and the meals were balanced and filling. The amouse-bouche on the house was delicious too. There was one member of staff that tried to be funny, but I cut that interaction short in an assertive manner, and the rest went well. The restaurant manager/owner (?) was excellent, and gave us very good recommendations for drinks. The bill for food was 220 dollars, but with service fee, federal tax and Quebec City tax, the total bill reached 298.

A Birthday Full of Surprises at Le Saint-Amour Our experience at Le Saint-Amour was pure magic from start to finish. To celebrate my husband’s birthday, I had requested a special card to be placed at the table — and they went above and beyond. They brought the card hidden under a silver cloche, just like a fine dish. My husband thought they were serving him a course... but when he lifted the cover, he found a heartfelt birthday note instead. It was such a sweet, unforgettable surprise that made us both smile. The food was extraordinary — every dish beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The service was flawless: warm, attentive, and full of small touches that made the evening feel truly personal. Le Saint-Amour didn’t just serve us dinner; they gave us a memory we’ll cherish forever. Thank you for making his birthday so special

Best restaurant in Quebec hands down. Not going to lie, wish there were a bit more accommodating for my requests (spouses's birthday) especially since I made a reservation ahead of time, but I'm glad I stayed for my dinner. Not a single complaint for any of the dishes we ordered. Everything was perfect. Thank you for an exceptional dinner.

We celebrated my partner's Birthday at Le Saint - Amore and it was a wonderful experience on many levels: the food was cooked to perfection: it truly is a dining experience more so than just a dinner, champagne was a great add on, atmosphere was charming and cozy, very attentive Staff. We would definitely recommend it for any celebration!

Wow! What a dining experience! My boyfriend and I went in not knowing what to expect. But from the very first bite of our two appetizers to the very last bite of our desserts, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal from their winter menu. Everyone was pleasant and polite and the overall ambiance made our dinner that much more enjoyable. We loved the oysters & caviar, the Foie Gras experience, Halibut fillet, and rack of lamb. A great date night spot and overall dinner spot for people of all ages. If you get a chance to visit Quebec City, this is a must! Also a heads-up, be prepared to spend at least 2 hours here, as is the norm with any fine dining place.

Simply the Best restaurant in Quebec City. Convenient location in the heart of Old Town. Perfect place for any special occasion birthday or anniversary date. The 7 course French tasting menu is superb and offers the best of local meats and fruits. The preparation is exquisite and so delicious. Small portions are just right. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The main dining room is beautifully decorated like Belle Epoque Paris. With wine, tax (15% in Canada ! ) and tip we spent 535 Canadian which is only about 387 US dollars total for 2 people. Well worth it for such a memorable dinner.
